It’s always good to reach the finals any tournament. Two good showing in last two tourney for the Gardens. Hope they can keep the momentum going when the pads come on. A team can go 10-0 in passing league and go 0-10 in real football. So good luck to all teams this upcoming season.
Point noted , but still think you amplified my point . If that’s the top rung , well…..
Diamond Bar : not sure what’s happening after all the forfeits last year
South Pas : running team, that lost their 2000 yard back
Burroughs was very good last year , saw them at BP tournament and not impressed, confirmed my hypothesis that they will be biggest drop
Off in SGV with new staff in charge
Always good to get the competition and make a run , build camaraderie, etc

I’ll agree and say that Baldwin Park, Arroyo, Keppel, and El Rancho all had bigger teams at their tourneys but
South Hills
Burroughs
South Pas
and especially Diamond Bar are not slouches. So good on WC and BG for their showing.
I think West Covina just so much better program than most entered . BG likes this level of competition , can look good here
Edison, Oceanview, and Culver City tournaments had bigger names but I’m willing to bet this one had was very enjoyable and competitive.
Always eye opening whenever a wing t team wins a 7 on 7 tournament. And Bell Gardens must be carrying that championship momentum into the summer!
