Mid Valley Area High School Football Top 12

Damien remains the top dog for now but Downey and St. Paul making a push for number one. Charter Oak moves up to four but has a ton of momentum. Northview moves up to seven. San Dimas and wait for it…Rio Hondo Prep are in! Here’s the Dirty Dozen heading into Week 2.

  1. Damien (2-0) – Spartans survived a close call against Loyola.
  2. Downey (2-0) – Vikings putting points on the board.
  3. St. Paul (2-0) – Physical, tough, relentless.
  4. Charter Oak (2-0) – Chargers are the hottest thing going.
  5. Bishop Amat (1-1) – Lancers were knocked down, not out.
  6. Bonita (2-0) – Travis Lippert has stepped in nicely at quarterback.
  7. Northview (2-0) – The Vikings haven’t allowed a point yet.
  8. Mayfair (1-1) – Monsoons bounced back with a big win over D-Ranch.
  9. La Serna (1-1) – It was ugly but Lancers got the W.
  10. St. Francis (0-2) – Early season death march for Golden Knights.
  11. San Dimas (2-0) – Saints have outscored its first two opponents 98-14.
  12. Rio Hondo Prep (2-0) – Kares just scored another touchdown.

    Considering Peterson never played football in hs I would be careful when mentioning Keppel or Gabrielino… those playing most likely know more about the game than Petey.

    this is a ridiculous rating. whoever wrote it is either a total troll or a total jabroni. this “guy” really put bum programs like la serna and st. paul in a TOP 12? top 12 of what? being horrible?
    From MVS: Who’s your team? Keppel? Gabrielino? Don’t worry they still have a shot.

    St Paul and Mike Moschetti are once again taking center stage in a huge game vs. Damien. If, as this coach has told his players, there are “ghosts” of past days on the Santa Fe Springs campus, they are awakening.
