  1. The Atlanta Falcons beat the Philadelphia Eagles 22-21 on Monday Night Football. 
  2. The Carolina Panthers announced that they are benching quarterback Bryce Young and will start Andy Dalton this Sunday against the Raiders. 
  3. The Miami Dolphins placed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa on injured reserve after he suffered a concussion in last Thursday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills. 
  4. Rams’ wide receiver Cooper Kupp will be out for an extended period of time with a left ankle sprain. 
  5. USC at Michigan, Saturday, 12:30 p.m. CBS. UCLA is at LSU Saturday at 12:30 p.m. on ABC. 
  6. Wisconsin quarterback Tyler Van Dyke is out for the season after suffering a torn ACL in Saturday’s loss to Alabama. 
  7. Rams’ safety John Johnson III has a hairline fracture and is expected to be out 4-6 weeks. 
  8. The Lakers signed free agent center Christian Koloko to a two-way contract Monday. 
  9. Dodgers’ pitcher Tyler Glasnow has a sprained elbow and is highly unlikely to return this season. 
  10.  The Rams host the San Francisco 49ers Sunday at SoFi Stadium at 1:25 p.m.

    They’ve been doing it at all levels for years ; it’s more the helmet to the side of knee if simultaneously doing rolling action . That’s football unfortunately

    NFL D-plaers are twisting ankles during the tackles by grabbing them and the rolling like a gator does to its prey. The Bengals almost got Mahomes out doing this.
