  1. The Dodgers lost to the New York Yankees 11-4 in Game 4 of the World Series Tuesday night. The Dodgers still lead the series 3-1 with Game 5 scheduled for Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium. 
  2. The Indianapolis Colts are benching quarterback Anthony Richardson and will start Joe Flacco Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. 
  3. Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs has a torn ACL and is out for the season. 
  4. Joel Embiid and Paul George have both missed the first three games for the Philadelphia 76ers this season and will be out again Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons. 
  5. The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the New York Giants 26-18 on Monday Night Football. 
  6. The 2024 – ’25 College Basketball season officially starts Monday November 4. UCLA will host Rider and USC is at home against Chattanooga. 
  7. Rudy Gay, who played in the NBA or 17 seasons, announced his retirement. 
  8. The Baltimore Ravens acquired receiver Diontae Johnson from the Carolina Panthers for a fifth-round draft pick.
  9. Schurr at Bell Gardens, Friday night, 7:00 p.m. Winner is the Almont League champion. 
  10. #4 Ohio St. at #3 Penn St., Saturday 9:00 AM FOX.
