  1. Notre Dame beat Georgia 23-10 in the College Football Playoff quarterfinal Thursday at the Allstate Sugar Bowl. 
  2. College Football Playoff Semi-Finals are set: Texas vs. Ohio State; Penn State vs. Notre Dame. 
  3. Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe has declared for the NFL draft.
  4. Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley, who is 101 yards shy of Eric Dickerson’s single season rushing record of 2,105, will sit out Sunday’s regular season finale against the New York Giants.
  5. Minnesota (14-2) at Detroit (14-2), Sunday 5:20 p.m. NBC.
  6. The Cleveland Cavaliers have the best record in the NBA at 29-4. 
  7. LeBron James’ son, Bryce James, has committed to Arizona. 
  8. Arizona State’s Cam Skattebo was named MVP of the Peach Bowl even though the Sun Devils lost to Texas 39-31 in double overtime. 
  9. The New York Jets interviewed ESPN analyst Louis Riddick for their GM vacancy. 
  10. The Rams will start Jimmy Garoppolo at quarterback Sunday against Seattle.

    At 6’6″ Bryce James is the Lebron offspring that will probably earn a spot in the league on his own merits. The fact that he’s spending time at Arizona, a known basketball power, shows that he has something more than a famous dad to recommend him.
