Kick it!

No one wants to see Cooper Kupp go Coop-bye from the Rams, but this is the reality: Your favorite doesn’t always make it to the end.

The end for Kupp being another Super Bowl and finishing his career in horns—that’s what we want.

It’s like Barry Pepper in Saving Private Ryan. Who didn’t like Barry Pepper in Saving Private Ryan? He’s quoting scripture while working his rife…Bang! Dead Nazi…Bang! Dead Nazi… He’s a candidate for Most Valuable Soldier in the movie.

Most of us were thinking, kill Private Ryan, let Barry Pepper live…But they killed Barry Pepper, and there was no sequel or means to bring him back.

Get rid of Tutu, get rid of DeMarcus, get rid of Colby Parkinson…but this is football, this is the NFL, and Cooper Kupp’s time has come—just like Roman Gabriel, Harold Jackson, Lawrence McCutcheon, Hacksaw Reynolds, Wendell Tyler, Eric Dickerson, Kurt Warner, Stephen Jackson, and Bobby Trees before him.

I hope it can work out…but generally, when McSnead has made up its mind… its mind is made up.

Kupp’s going bye-bye.

How far off am I in thinking Luca Doncic makes the Lakers much more interesting than LeBron James? Whether James goes or stays…Doncic is now the face of the Lakers.

By heisting Doncic from the Mavericks, the Buss Family is saying they’re taking control of the franchise back from LeBron. At least, I want to believe that.

Dallas might not be much in five years…and I’ve heard rumors they could be in Las Vegas sooner than some may think…but I think they have a small window this year and next.

After that, it’s church.

I’m all in on the Chiefs in Super Bowl 59. (I have a disdain for Roman numerals when they exceed ten…So I’m sticking with the Arabic.)

Last night on RamView, I took KC 30-17. That could change because the Chiefs have a way of horsing around and keeping games closer than they should.

Still, in a close game, who are you going to go with? Andy Reid & Patrick Mahomes or Nick Sirianni & Jalen Hurts?

It’s not a tough call.

Last Add Coop: Kupp and #26 overall to Cleveland for Myles Garrett. (Note: I did like Albert Breer’s suggestion of Kupp going to the TaxSkins.)

Multiple NFL Mock Drafts have the Rams taking a tackle or cornerback with #26.

What would I do? First, I’d determine if #26 could pry Garrett Wilson away from the Jets.

Second, if I didn’t see a receiver I liked at #26, I’d trade back and get another pick inside the First 100.

The Rams own #26, #90, and #100.

Note to Mets: You’re in the third round of Russian Roulette with a six-cylinder pistol…sign Pete Alonso.

Raiders head coach? Pete Carroll.
Raiders DC? Patrick Graham is back.
Raiders OC? Chip Kelly
Raiders QB? Lance Zierlein’s latest mock draft has…
#1 Cam Ward to the Titans
#2 Abdul Carter, edge, to the Browns
#3 Travis Hunter, to the Giants
#4 Will Campbell, OT, to the Patriots
#5 Will Johnson, CB, to the Jaguars
And at #6…The Raiders—Shedeur Sanders.

If Las Vegas can pull that off…they win the offseason.

The Dude abides…
