  2. The Clippers took center Yanic Konan Niederhausen from Penn St. with the 30th pick in the first round.
  3. Barry Bonds will be getting a statue outside Oracle Park in San Francisco.
  4. Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been suspended for the first 10 weeks of the 2025 season for violating the personal conduct policy.
  5. Cornerback Shaquill Griffin signed a one-year, $3 million contract to return to the Seattle Seahawks.
  6. The Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 3-1 Thursday to complete a three-game sweep of the series. The Dodgers improved to 51-31 on the year.
  7. CIF announced Thursday that Bishop Amat AD/head baseball coach Joe Hoggatt has accepted the position of Assistant Commissioner of Athletics for the CIF SS.
