    If this is a textbook example of wise scheduling, we have to count St Paul’s fall lineup as the extreme opposite of wise, which is to say insane. The only way the Swordsmen could have made things tougher for themselves would have been to play Santa Margarita 10 times…on the road. St Paul football is best understood as the high school equivalent of James Harden, both being respectable when the games don’t matter too much, and dependably vanishing when it comes time to win a championship.
