South Hills running back Jacob Gallegos has transferred back to San Dimas it was confirmed Monday. Gallegos played at San Dimas last year but transferred to South Hills in March. He has opted to return to the Saints.

Last year Gallegos rushed for 1,668 yards and 16 touchdowns and also caught 13 passes for 304 yards and four scores under head coach Mark Holman.

The Saints went 7-6 last year overall and advanced to the third round of the CIF Division 9 playoffs before falling to Valley Christian.

Holman stepped down after the season and was replaced by Dylan O’Leary. O’Leary, a San Dimas alum and former Saints quarterback, is in the process of implementing a new offense. One that Gallegos will be a big part of.
