  1. In a game that lasted just one hour and 52 minutes Shohei Ohtani hit a solo home run in the sixth inning and the Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 1-0 Tuesday night.
  2. Lionel Messi scored a hat trick to lead Argentina to a 3-0 win over Algeria Tuesday in the World Cup. Messi tied Mirosalv Klose’s record for most men’s World Cup goals at 16.
  3. Kylian Mbappe scored two goals in France’s 3-1 win over Senegal Tuesday.
  4. Ganesha quarterback Eamon Graves has transferred to Upland. Graves threw for over 900 yards and ran for 450 yards last year in just five games for Ganesha.
  5. Vegas Golden Knights GM Kelly McCrimmon announced that Coach John Tortorella, who led the Golden Knights to the Stanley Cup Final where they lost to Carolina, will not return as coach next season.

  7. New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan signed a one-year deal Tuesday and announced this will be his “final season.”
  8. The Lakers announced that Public Address announcer Lawrence Tanter will retire from his position after more than 40 years with the team. He will stay on as an adviser on the Lakers’ game presentation.
  9. The New York Knicks-San Antonio Spurs was the most-watched NBA Finals since 1998. Overall, the Finals averaged 20.6 million viewers, the highest since the 1998 series between the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz.
  10. The Chicago Bulls announced Tuesday that they have hired Tiago Splitter, who was the interim coach of the Portland Trail Blazers, as their new head coach.

    From T. Peterson: I posted it two days ago. It’s in my column “The Peterson Principle: 6/15/2026”. I posted a picture of him as well. I guess you just didn’t see it.
