If the team wants to give back, they can keep tickets, parking, and concessions low…they can and should make their games available as much as possible…Perhaps, seek and face forward individuals of character…
Beyond that…I don’t need…never have…someone coming to the park and signing autographs…
From my perspective, it has always been window dressing/virtue signaling/tap dancing for culture credits.
The bottom line is these franchises do not care. Even though they may have “We Care” departments in the building, they don’t. And I am more than okay with them not caring.
All I want is wins and reasonable prices; beyond that, I don’t need anything else.
Okay, maybe a little trash talk…and the Cowboys going 0-17…and the Seahawks crashing and burning…and for the Dodgers to go back to Brooklyn…and…Uncle Stan moving the Angels to Long Beach….and that’s all I need.

@Conscientious Observer: You’re right, this is a sports site, and I really enjoyed your sports take. As for the fellow who said we shouldn’t use Mexico as a guide, I didn’t say there were any good people to fill that country’s elected positions, only that all nations need to have trustworthy election procedures. The temptation to tamper with ballots and counts is too great when mail-in ballots are circulating in the streets, and when computer software can be used to fractionalize the vote to favor one candidate over another.
There are no truly good politicians, so we’re always choosing the lesser of two evils. The least we should be able to expect are elections where monkey business isn’t overt. As for sports, hey, I love all sports except soccer and baseball. There, I’ve steered the conversation back to the games.
Wait, isn’t Mid Valley Sports supposed to be about the area’s high school and LA sports scene? What the heck is politics doing on this forum? Leave that trash elsewhere.

In ballots always change the election in the same direction?
Not sure what propaganda to believe but I have read that something like .0001% of past votes were suspect and those were for the most part Republicans that have been found guilty. As for Mexico the Cartel State, you use them as a guide? OK? Maybe model North Korea elections also. The Big Lie.
Mail-in ballots have demonstrably been proven to be instruments of voting fraud WORLD-WIDE for many decades. That’s why Mexico severely limited their usage back in 1991; the elections down there had become a joke. That same country, Mexico, also requires a government-issued ID with a hologram and picture in order to cast a ballot.
My wish is that the United States can have elections with the same level of trust they have in Mexico. Is that reasonable, or is it proper to scream “voter suppression” if the count isn’t allowed to takes days or weeks?
So you don’t believe all votes should be counted?
From Joe T.: No, not at all when they haven’t arrived by election day…when they’re found in a trunk/closet/Etc…and when they’re still be counted a week after an election….
