Pasadena Punches Ticket to Finals

By Tim Peterson (Pasadena) – It wasn’t easy but the road to the Finals never is. Pasadena did enough to hold off Rancho Verde 48-46 Friday night to advance to the CIF Division 1 Finals next weekend.

Dogs Down Damien; Semis Next

By Tim Peterson (La Verne) – Bryce Hamilton scored 35 points and Darius Brown II tossed in 23 to lead Pasadena to an 88-75 win over host Damien and into the CIF Division 1 Semi Finals Tuesday night.

Bulldogs Leave Loyola in Their Wake

By Tim Peterson (Pasadena) – Pasadena jumped out to a 20 point lead at the half and rolled to a 77-47 rout of Loyola Friday night at Marshall High in the second round of the CIF Division 1 playoffs. And it wasn’t that close.
