Pasadena Slams Into Semis

By Tim Peterson (Pasadena) – Darius Brown II scored 18 points and dished out a school record 20 assists and Bryce Hamilton scored 27 points to lead Pasadena to 75-62 win over Taft Saturday night to advance to the CIF Division 1 State semi finals.

By Tim Peterson (Glendora) – Oneyka Okongwu scored 38 points to carry Chino Hills to a 72-56 win over Pasadena Saturday night in the CIF Division 1 Championship game at Felix Event Center.

Pasadena Punches Ticket to Finals

By Tim Peterson (Pasadena) – It wasn’t easy but the road to the Finals never is. Pasadena did enough to hold off Rancho Verde 48-46 Friday night to advance to the CIF Division 1 Finals next weekend.
