By George Hernandez (Monrovia) – Nick Bueno passed for 100 yards and rushed for another 100 to lead Monrovia to a 40-7 win over South El Monte Friday night in the first round of the CIF SS Mid-Valley Division playoffs.

Victory Twice as Nice for Knights

  (El Monte) The Arroyo Knights knocked off the South El Monte Eagles 44-0 Friday night and accomplished two goals. First to go undefeated in Mission Valley League play and win the title outright and second to end a four game losing streak to the Southmen.
