By Tim Peterson (Monrovia) – Ayala hit five three pointers in the fourth quarter and outscored La Canada by seven in the final stanza to beat the Spartans 56-41 Monday night in the SGV Basketball Classic at Monrovia High.

Ali is a Knockout for Temple City

By Tim Peterson (Temple City) – Ali Elhawary scored 31 points including 16 in the third quarter to lead Temple City to a 72-61 win over Franklin Friday night in the SGV Classic Basketball Tournament.
