By Tony Solorzano (La Puente, CA) – Two 1-yard touchdown runs at the end of the half, and game, gave the Bishop Amat Lancers a 14-0 shutout win over the Garfield Bulldogs to open the 2011 football season Friday night at Keifer Stadium.

Bishop Amat Rips Muir 34-14

By Corey Kwok (La Puente) – It was Zachary Shay’s night at Kiefer Stadium as the speedy junior all purpose back scored three touchdowns (two rushing, one receiving) to lead host Bishop Amat to a 34-14 rout of Muir Friday night at Kiefer Stadium.
