Spartans Still Undefeated, 42-13
By Tim Peterson (Pasadena) – Joe Bell threw for two touchdowns and ran for one and Dash Paper ran for 192 yards and two scores to lead La Canada to a 42-13 win over Maranatha Thursday night at Keith Family Field.

Sierra Canyon Strikes Early and Often, 49-7
By Tim Peterson (Downey) – Sierra Canyon struck early and often in a 49-7 rout of Downey Friday night at Allen Layne Stadium. The Trailblazers led 21-7 at the end of the first quarter. They extended it to 42-7 at halftime and coasted the rest of the way on a running clock.
Norwalk Holds off Venice in 28-27 Thriller
By: Joe Parra (Norwalk) – Norwalk pulled out a dramatic 28-27 win over the Venice Gondoliers Friday night at Norwalk High School.
Conquerors Clock Burroughs

Another Offensive Explosion for Trojans
By Tim Peterson (Los Angeles) – USC’s offense exploded for 755 yards of total offense in a 59-20 rout of Georgia Southern Saturday before 66,414 fans at the LA Memorial Coliseum. The Trojans have scored 134 points in their first two games.
