(Whittier) A few brave teams took on the sweltering SoCal heat Saturday at Pioneer High School in one of last passing league tournaments of the summer. In the end Los Angeles High beat Monrovia in the Finals. Monrovia’s Michael Washington was named MVP of the tournament.
