The Lakers and Clippers are struggling because they are relying on OLD players. Players of great ability, no doubt, but guys who are on the downside of their careers. Kawhi Leonard and Lebron James would do well if the NBA had a seniors division, but since it doesn’t, these guys are handicapping their respective teams by consuming salaries that would be better spent on multiple younger players, players who are on the upside of their careers.
