- The Rams signed receiver Robert Woods to a one-day contract so he can retire with the organization. Woods played 13 years in the NFL.
- Former Dodger pitcher Walker Buehler signed a minor league deal with the San Diego Padres.
- Doug Moe, former head coach of the Denver Nuggets, passed away Tuesday at the age of 87. Moe spent 15 years overall as a head coach that also included stints with the San Antonio Spurs and Philadelphia 76ers. He spent 10 years as coach of the Nuggets in the 1980s.
- Major League Baseball Players Association executive director Tony Clark resigned Tuesday after an internal investigation revealed an inappropriate relationship with his sister-in-law, who was hired by the union in 2023, according to ESPN.
- The Seattle Seahawks are unlikely to use either a franchise tag or a transition on running back Kenneth Walker III. Walker, the MVP of the Super Bowl, would become an unrestricted free agent in March.
- Wide receiver Mike Evans, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ all-time leading scorer, plans to play next season – his 13th in the NFL.
