By Tim Peterson (Montebello) – Schurr’s defense scored two touchdowns and the offense did the rest as the Spartans rolled to a 35-2 rout of Bell Gardens Friday night. With the victory Schurr wrapped up the Almont League title with a perfect record of 5-0.
Moors Crush Keppel; Get a Playoff Gift
By Ron Vrooman (Alhambra) – The Alhambra Moors flattened the visiting Mark Keppel Aztecs, 57-0, on Friday night to record their only victory in Almont League play and end the 2025 regular season at 5-5.

Mid Valley High School Football Top 12
Travis Lippert and Bonita check in at number five. Downey and Charter Oak jumped over Damien into the top two spots after the Spartans lost to Chino Hills. Northview also lost and dropped down to number eight. Rio Hondo Prep, Los Altos and Rowland are all still undefeated.
