Good Morning!

T-Minus-44 until Manny Ramirez returns to Dodger lineup…

May I say something?

And know this comes with a long history of anti-bandwagonism and an ancient love of the Lakers…

But I want the Denver Nuggets to win the NBA title. Any team that can dump Allen Iverson and get Chauncey Billups in the same deal deserves the title.

Speaking of Iverson, in June he turns 34…can you say; Sayonara…?

Freshman to keep an eye on: Jackie “Jax” Wagner at Arroyo has thrown 81.2-innings this season, is 7-5, has 93 K’s, and a 2.06 ERA…

The “Wave” was soo cool…back in 1984.

Hit only took 35 games and roughly 130 at-bats but James Loney, starting first baseman for the Los Angeles Dodgers, hit his first home run of season last night…

Did you know Burroughs football coach Keith Knoop loves to read the Mid Valley News…?

So the Pittsburgh-Washington series is over…so I don’t have to hear about Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin being the greatest things since Bird-Magic and the invention of sliced bread.

Usually I steer clear of this stuff, but did you catch “Lost” last night and see John Locke fall out of that window? I guess TiVo can be used for something other than sports…I laughed my head off…

I got emails and phone calls yesterday asking me if the Mid Valley was going to start charging for website access…because there is a potential for others to start doing so… I don’t speak for Citizen Keenan or the consortium known as Mid Valley Sports…but the idea of paying for it seems crazy…I’ve never had to pay for it…

But we will charge you fully and completely for advertising so please contact us…have we got a deal for you…

Papers are hurting, but my belief is newsprint, hard copy, isn’t outdated…just the way newspapers do business is.

There was a time when I was $1.25, in quarters, guy…I’d go down the sidewalk and buy the Times, Examiner, USA Today, and either the Register, Daily News, or Trib/Star… I did it because I was getting something in return…

Now there is nothing in return…Even in the sports sections, sports is secondary…so why buy the paper…

I’m gonna get my hands on some capitol, and I’m going to produce a hard copy sports section, and I’m going to make it work…

Content, content, content…

Mmm…now if I can just get my hands on some capitol…
