Consequences of naming an All Mid-Valley team.

Good Morning!

Someone asked me if I was a Jets fan now…How ridiculous is that? Of course I’m a Jets fan, until they lose in Pittsburgh next week…

I saw Montana in his prime…Usually when he was carving up the Rams…but never hated him. In fact he crossed some plain where you just admired his work like that of any other great artist…That was Aaron Rodgers on Saturday night…it was perfection.

Note to the Super Genius Coaching the New England Patriots: Just punt the ball…dog gone dude…just punt the ball…

Well I guess I can kiss that free pizza from Arroyo this coming summer goodbye…

Tough calls in Mid-Valley Division…

And there is one player I will admit to whiffing on…but nobody has mentioned it in either a private email or comment…

The argument over Monrovia’s Dean Bisterfeldt and Schurr’s Albert Perez was compelling, but in the end the staff was convinced for Rhino…

Last Add Schurr: To those who say we chose only the players we liked or those who went to Chrstian schools… There is a quarterback and a wide receiver I like very much at Schurr I would have loved to put on this team.

Quarterback position was the deepest its ever been and should make the Mid Valley Draft really interesting…but there was no way we weren’t dancing with Bueno…

You can call the “Special Teams” section an honorable mention list or a second team…I wanted to call it the “Bad Dude List”…and finally settled on guys we would want on our special teams…Yes, we are well aware that several of these players didn’t play special teams…

If Covina had gone another round in the playoffs “The Dude” would have been in serious contention for either MVP or POY…He’s that good…

No offer yet, but Portland State has expressed a lot of interest in San Gabriel’s Arthur Brown… Doubtful he’ll run “The Wild Cholo” up there though…

Fresno State scores San Dimas tackle Allen Brown and early got a verbal from Mayfair’s Justin Northern…Time to take advantage of those Bulldog connections…

Don’t write me on this…but who is Joey Votto and why should I care?

6th Annual El Monte High School Football Charity Golf Tournament

“We are expecting a big turn out,” says El Monte HC Joel Sanchez. “Last year’s event was lots of fun with great prizes and the Laker girls. Every year we get more alumni to join the tournament and make it a great event.”

The Four Person Scramble, will be held Thursday April 7th, 2011. For additional information contact Joel Sanchez at  emftbl@yahoo.com or (626) 926-6108.

Last Add Covina: “The Dude” is Vinny Venegas.

Oh, I’ve always been a Clippers fan…

Last Add San Dimas: The Saints Kevin Kolbeck is making a two more visits before a decision about next season.

Stay thirsty my friends…
