La Canada 89 Blair 47
La Canada went on a 26-8 run in the second quarter and opened up a 24 point halftime lead in an 89-47 rout of Blair. With the victory the Spartans capped a perfect 10-0 Rio Hondo League run and finished 23-3 overall.
LC now will see who its first round playoff opponent will be when the CIF pairings are announced Sunday.
Temple City 59 San Marino 39
Jordan Hill scored 11 points and Paul Yao added 10 as Temple City coasted to a 20 point win over San Marino. The Rams jumped out to a 19-9 first quarter and then outscored the Titans 18-5 in the third to break it open. Allen Law and Caleb Halversen each tossed in nine points to balance the attack.
Temple City finished 5-5 in the Rio Hondo tied with Blair. South Pasadena and Monrovia were both 4-5 going into their Thursday night match up but results are not yet available.
The Rams still have a good shot to make the post season dance. They will find out Sunday.
