Good Morning!

T-Minus-12 until Manny Ramirez returns to Dodgers lineup

Amazing how Orlando Hudson in just 67-games at second base can make you forget Jeff Kent ever played for the Dodgers.

With that said, and omitting the work Kent did while in Los Angeles, who was the last great Dodger second sacker? Wilton Guerrero? Jody Reed? Willie Randolph? Steve Sax? Do we have to go all the way back to Davey Lopes?

This sounds like an obligatory Scanlan question.

Check the record but didn’t Andy Villathedevil tell me in the opening segment of the show on Tuesday that the Angels Erick Aybar was injured and going to be out the rest of the season?

Aybar looked okay against the Giants the other night…then again he must have turned off the last Angel game in the top of the 8th inning…

Did you know Jason Kapono was still in the NBA? Next thing you know someone is going to tell me Sean May is still collecting pay checks…

Tis the season, one passing tourney after another…feels good.

Should I be excited that play at the U.S. Open has resumed? I think I’d rather submit myself to a “Growing Pains” marathon than golf on television…even if Tiger is playing…

I would like to see the NFL practice perspective. Good work on the indefinite suspension of Donte’ Stallworth, he killed somebody. Michael Vick killed dogs…awful as Vick’s actions were there is a difference between human life and dog life…Vick should be reinstated before Stallworth…

Isn’t it time for hockey to start again?

Usually new football leagues spark my interest but the United Football League just hasn’t done that so far…not even the potential signing of the legendary J.P. Loseman by the Las Vegas franchise excites me.

Just when it looked like the Blue Jays season was in a tailspin the got healthy against the Phillies and shouldn’t be counted out in the A.L. East…

After a rough start Orioles catcher Matt Wieters is hitting now after a rough start, but I’m afraid to ask Scanlan what he thinks of the kid’s on base percentage.

When I was a kid the Baltimore Orioles were the gold standard for baseball.

Note to Panther Pride: If you want to know the latest in local football you’ve got to go to “Fanview Lite”, not “On the Couch”…but latest Rosemead tracking has Matt Macias as the new guy at QB for the Panthers…

I wonder what it feels like to be Vladimir Radmanovic these days…

Stay thirsty my friends…
