Bowdien Derby threw a complete game shutout to lead La Salle
(Temple City) – Bowdien Derby threw a complete game shutout and the offense did more than enough as La Salle blanked Temple City 6-0 Thursday at the Elks Tournament.
The Rams were never able to break through against Derby who seemed to get stronger as the game progressed. Temple City had its opportunities early leaving the bases loaded in the first inning and stranding several others through out the contest.
Julian Jarrard started on the mound for Temple City and went five innings. The Rams didn’t help themselves defensively either as they kicked the ball around in the early innings.
