(Temple City) – St. Bonaventure scored three runs in the first inning and that was enough to beat Temple City as the Rams fell 4-2 in the first round of the CIF Division 4 playoffs Thursday.

Sanderson Pitches Temple City to Win

By Corey Kwok (Temple City) – Ben Sanderson fanned 10 and allowed just one run in five innings as Temple City beat La Salle Prep of Milwaukie, Oregon 8-1 Thursday. Temple City’s pitchers struck out 14 in all and the offense did the rest rapping out nine hits.

Rams at a Loss Against La Salle

(Temple City) – Bowdien Derby threw a complete game shutout and the offense did more than enough as La Salle blanked Temple City 6-0 Thursday at the Elks Tournament.

I took a working vacation last week. And although it was a vacation from the usual 9:00-5:00 grind it was all work when it came to covering sports. Of course sitting in the sun watching baseball games isn’t really work so I guess it was a vacation after all.
