Los Angeles Dodgers (49-29):

 OOPS: The Dodgers have lost three of their last four and five of their last seven.

 OUCH: The Dodgers were shut out for the fourth time, for the second time at Dodger Stadium…Philadelphia’s Cole Hamels tossed a five-hitter in the other shutout along Elysian Park Avenue June 4.

 HIT ME, PLEASE: The Dodgers were held to a season-low two hits…the Dodgers were last held to two or fewer hits June 28, 2008, when they became the fifth team in the modern era of Major League baseball to win without the benefit of a hit, getting a 1-0 victory against the Angels at Dodger Stadium.

 LOONEY JUNE: At 14-12, the Dodgers posted their first winning record in June since 2003, when they went 14-11.

 JUNE…OH!: The Dodgers scored 93 runs in 26 games in June, an average of 3.6 per game…Los Angeles scored 156 runs in 29 games in May, an average of 5.4 per game.

 HE’S A NICE LAD: Chad Billingsley worked a season-high 7.2 innings…he struck out a season-high 11 batters for the second time, matching his effort from April 13 vs. San Francisco .

 Colorado Rockies (41-36):

 ROCK AND ROLL: The Rockies have won four of their last five, and 21 of their last 25 beginning June 4.

 T-SO ROCKY ROAD: The Rockies posted their fourth shutout, their third on the road.

 ON THE MARQUIS: Jason Marquis became the National League’s first 10-game winner…he joins Zach Greinke, Roy Halladay, Kevin Slowey, and Tim Wakefield for the Major League lead.

 MARQUIS TO THE CITY: Jason Marquis tossed his third career shutout and his sixth career complete game…he also posted shutouts May 9, 2007 vs. Pittsburgh and August 27, 2005 at Washington …Marquis has two complete games in 2009, his other coming May 2 at San Francisco .

 HAWPE, DROP, AND ROLL: Brad Hawpe has four homers in his last 11 games…it was his sixth in 28 games in June.
