Off The Cuff: July 2, 2009

So what have we learned in the last month.
Well I guess you can take fertility drugs and still be treated like royalty in Dodgertown.

After nearly two months, Her royal highness Manny Ramirez will return on Friday and play in his first game since he tested positive for trying to grow breasts.

The locks will be shorter and it will take longer for him to grow them now.

All I know is that Joe Torosian is scrambling for another T-minus schtick that is growing old quickly.

It shouldn’t surprise anybody who is a Dodger fan that the organization looks the other way when it comes to PED’s.  This is the same team that had a delivery of drugs sent to the stadium.  If you think I am kidding read the Mitchell Report.

Also, they somewhat encouraged Paul LoDuca to take them as well.  Read the Mitchell Report.

Look away if you hate NASCAR.

We also have learned that the a US Judge feels its quite alright to endanger 42 other drivers by allowing Jeremy Mayfield back on the track.

It is one thing to have Claritin and a ADD drug in your system, entirely different when you test positive for Meth.  Just saying.

The fact he is allowed to run at a track that have cars reaching 200 MPH is crazy.  I wonder if anyone will want to draft with him when they go three-wide and six-deep racing.

The one thing that is wrong about this whole Court issue is the fact other drivers have already stated that they do not want to race with Mayfield.

Expectations from the garage area is that if Mayfield shows up to race, he will be tested for anything and everything.

More to come.
