4.) On this date in 2005 South El Monte came back from a 21-0 deficit at Wilson to score a 48-42 victory. Southman quarterback Lee Aguirre passed (258 yards) for three touchdowns and ran (195 yards) for three more, to account 453-yards of total offense. Joe Morales added 16 tackles for South, while the Wildcats were led by running back Daniel Bernal’s 135 rushing yards and three touchdowns. (Including a 90-yard kick-off return.)
