1.) Rio Hondo Prep is 5-2 over the last ten seasons against teams in the current make up of the Mid-Valley Division.

2.) Monrovia quarterback Blake Heyworth.

3.) The Philadelphia Eagles are 1-4.

4.) The entire Mission Valley League is above .500

5.) Broncos quarterback Brady Quinn leaves team and flew to Japan to be with girlfriend during surgery.

6.) On this date in 2003 Cathedral beat Bell Gardens 34-30.

7.) El Monte has scored 40-points twice in non-league play this season. The last time they dropped 40-plus on a pair of opponents in non-league play was in 1996. In Week Two they lost to Sierra Vista 48-45 and in Week Four they defeated Gladstone 56-34. Prior to 1996?…Never.

8.) South Pasadena running back Nathan Lee.

9.) Duarte offensive tackles Alberto Pina (6-4, 240) & Lorenzo Rojas (6-1, 260) are both sophomores.
