The Red Devils (5-3, 3-1) exploded for 28 second-half points as they handed the Nobles (3-5, 1-3) their third straight loss in Valle Vista League play Friday night at Pomona High.
Sir Darius Yabrough scored three times as the Red Devils broke a 15-15 halftime tie. Yabrough scored on the Devils’ first possession in the second half with another 80-yard run, followed up with a four-yard score and a 70-yard run. Tavea Cobb added the fourth score on a 30-yard interception return of Nobles quarterback Nephi Tofiga.
