The Matadors (4-4, 3-0) maintained their share of the lead in the Almont League by holding off the Lancers (2-6, 0-3) Friday night at Bell Gardens High.The Matadors overcame a 23-20 fourth quarter deficit on a 60-yard touchdown pass from Andy Guerrero to Alex Villalobos, but held on after the Lancers scored with 14 seconds left in the game.
