The Spartans (2-6, 2-1) took sole possession of third place in the Almont League by keeping the Aztecs (2-6, 0-3) winless in league play.
Schurr scored on their first three possessions of the game, two of which came from Aztec turnovers deep in their own territory. Jose Aguero intercepted Tyler Takeshita twice in the game, scoring from 35 yards out on the second interception.
