The TEN

1.         Aaron Cantu (Schurr) completes 24 of 31  passes for 403 yards and 4 scores in win over San Bernardino Valley College to secure conference title.

2.         Covina and Monrovia are on the same side of the bracket for the Mid Valley Division playoffs.

3.         On this day in 1943, Sid Luckman of the Chicago Bears threw for 433 yards and seven touchdowns as the Bears destroyed the New York Giants 56-7.

4.         ELAC wins Mountain Conference and 1st conference title in 37 years.

5.         Arcadia’s Joe Wong leads the Apaches with 52 tackles, and has two interceptions and two fumble recoveries.

6.         Fullerton’s Connor Bednarski (South Pasadena) throws for 404 yards and four touchdowns in loss to Saddleback College.

7.         Pasadena makes playoffs and gets Joe steak and lobster at Northwoods Inn.

8.         La Serna’s OJ Medina led the Del Rio league with 1144 yards and 13 touchdowns.

9.         Tim Tebow was 2-8 for 69 yards in win over Kansas City.
