(Duarte) – Kurt Scoby, who ran for 1,572 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2011, has withdrawn from Charter Oak and enrolled at Duarte High School.
Scoby, currently a sophomore, has been the subject of transfer rumors since the season ended.
With the transfer grounded in academic needs the expectation is for CIF to approve the move and for Scoby to be in a Falcon football uniform this fall.
“We are happy to have Kurt come to Duarte,” said Falcon HC Jason Martin. “And excited about what he’s bringing to a very athletic squad.”
