6. Bill Parcells decides to “stay retired” and turns down Saints’ HC offer.

7. Miami Marlins Manager Ozzie Guillen suspended five games for saying he admired and loved Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

8. Andrew Bynum grabs 30 rebounds in Lakers win over San Antonio.

9. Arroyo assistant John Luque graduated from El Monte and coached at South El Monte before taking Arroyo job.
