Gladstone Rolls Northview

By Tony Solorzano Covina, CA – Two passing and a rushing touchdown by quarterback Kevin Amezquita lead Gladstone to open their 2012 football season with a 19-10 upset of Northview Thursday night at Covina District Field.

West Covina Wins Shootout

(El Monte) – West Covina beat Northview 30-18 to win the SGV Shootout at Arroyo Saturday. The Bulldogs, not traditionally a passing team, knocked off Monrovia in the semi finals before dispatching of Northview. Monrovia beat Whittier Christian in the consolation game.
