1.) Former USC Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart will back up former USC Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer in Oakland this season.

3.) Three years ago today “On The Couch” made its debut.

4.) Dodger center fielder Matt Kemp hit 12 home runs and drove in 25 runs in the month of April…In June of 1985 Dodger left fielder Pedro Guerrero hit 15 home runs and drove in 27.

5.) Burbank Bulldog (junior) defensive tackle Steven Kim (5-10, 255); 39 tackles, 1 sack in 2011. Second Team Pacific League.

6.) Former USC/San Diego State running back Dillon Baxter headed to Baker University, NAIA program in Kansas. Current Arroyo defensive backs coach John Luque at one time was on the football staff at Baker.

7.) Former Bonita DB Cameron Salce turns 19 today.
