First and foremost, I have never seen a blog where Arcadia HS is the main focus. Didn’t realize they even have a football team, just JK. But seriously, I think the biggest problem with the Apaches is their head coach. I have been to two of their practices and I have not been impressed with either the organization or structure. Some of the other bloggers are right, absolutely no play makers on this team and no QB. The QB who transferred from South Pasadena is average and the returner is below average. As for the two RBs, they ran behind a much better OL last year and has 1,600 yards combined. They’re average at best and may even be below average this year with a lousy OL. I see Arcadia losing the game to Rio Hondo Prep with their coed student body of 100 on August 24th. That will be the ultimate slap in the face consider Arcadia has over 4,000 students on campus.

you are right all the way @The Sauce Boss in my option i see Pasadena have a shot at the league championship because of coxs and Crescenta Valley because of their OL and running back Muir lost too many good player not this year for them

@realtalk if you think that passing leagues actually matter you are greatly mistaken. Arcadia still has weapons but how can you utilize these weapons without an OL? Your RBs are a great talent but it be hard to run the ball with only one returning OLineman (#77). Also Arcadia has no returning DLineman and we all know the battles are won in the trenches and without Haines, Campbell, and Irvin it’s going to be hard to stop the run. Yeah you guys did great at passing leagues but how will you pass the ball without an OL?

St. Paul, please, you are going to get beat up by La Mirada. And you’ll fail to make the playoffs again. Get a program going, get a couple kids a scholarship. Until then, get behind.

@ Pc quit running your mouth about something you probably havent checked out. arcadia did very well in passing league, alot better than what was expected. sure they lost key players like Carr, Lagace, Macelwee, Campbell, Haines, and many other weapons, but you need to realize that there are some weapons on this team. dont even get me started on the running backs need i remind you who are the best in all of pacific league. think before you speak

Foozball: Anytime you have a very young coach inheriting an established program there will be questions until there are a few games under his belt. There are many second level teams besides BOHI not on this list. Some will make it on after game 1. Losing all league player Rameriz and an all league linebacker for the season to knee injuries dont help. Though not playing the Amats of the world Bohi schedule is rough. After San Dimas which is heavily favored by the Mid boys, they have Claremont, La Serna and South Hills. You will know how we stand by league. With their coaching staff intact they may move up the polls with a good showing at the Smudgepot. They showed little during passing league other than two fine QB’S and I think that may have been by design. I’am as curious as most Bohi fans are on what this years team will look like.

Bobby knight, if I recall correctly your team is Bonita. Can someone tell me why they are left off so many lists this season when they have been talked about a whole lot in the past. Doesnt seem like many people are blogging about them either. Is it the new coach?

LM at #1? Did they find some players who can run faster than a 4.8 second forty? They have some nice D1 pieces, but their overall team speed or lack there of is what did them in against the Bulldogs in the semi’s last season. This year’s WC squad has a lot of talent to replace, and a lot returning or stepping in. WC may even be more balanced on offense and have even more overall team speed than last season. Our linemen up front will be bigger this year and deeper depth wise.

Arcadia doesn’t have playmakers??! Are you dumb? Those kids they have at running back that ran all over everyone last year are back. Medel and Mckinley together rushed for 1600 plus! And their two inside receivers are back as well but yeah ur right no play makers…. Psshhh
Arcadia I will agree is down from last year but I see them competiting for league !! But I do agree they might be a tad high maybe 8

Although we all appreciate the hard work and detail that goes into making this list, there is one mistake. You have Arcadia way to high. Without any playmakers on offense, and a big question mark at QB, how can they even be on this list. It’s going to be a long year for the Apache’s…What’s the saying over there ? Oh yeah ” NO APACHE DOWN “..Well, you better set up a mash unit this year. I have a feeling there’s going to be a lot of Apache’s down this year…Just Sayin…
