As Always, San Dimas Will be “OK”

(San Dimas)-  For the first time in years (seemingly) the San Dimas Saints won’t have Dillon Corona in uniform, but the ultimate utility man, along with Jesse Ojeda, will be joining Head Coach Bill Zernickow’s veteran staff for the 2012 season. The SD program grows running backs like the midwest grows wheat, they have a full house backfield and a new quarterback who understands what Coach Z expects. Here are some pics from the other night.

With all the points and all the different angles on offense, it’s the Saints defense, led by DC Brian Mustain, that is often overlooked and underestimated.

The hardest thing about Tim Peterson interviewing Dillon Corona, is convincing Peterson he isn’t entitled to a Corona afterwards.

Reece Alverado has found a spot in the Saints backfield.

Long time SD & Zernickow assistant Mark Holman plays a huge role in coordinating the Saints running game.

Josh Avila takes over at quarterback in 2012. Zernickow says the junior is “right there” in skill set and ability with previous San Dimas signal callers.

Always better to practice at dusk instead of noon when August arrives with triple digits.

…And Zernickow manages it all.
