Minutemen Set For Launch

(Pasadena)- Andrew Elffers took over at quarterback for Maranatha back in the late 1990’s…or at least it seems that way. Actually he’s in his third year as a starter, he’s being looked at by several colleges who want him to play football on Saturdays, and he’s throwing to a new set of receivers. Then again, Elffers always seems to be throwing to a new set of receivers. A few pics from Friday;

Michael Cornell (#13), and Elffers being preached the gospel of Maranatha football by assistant coach Brian Rodriguez.

Newcomer Alex Harrity is projected to see plenty of time at slot for Minutemen.

More mobile than most think.

Olympic League defender of the year in 2012: Matt Hall. Safety Daniel Rasmussen is in the background.

Running back Omar Younger is looking for consecutive thousand yard seasons.

Former Blair Viking Logan McClain is being worked into the offense.

Michael Cornell could be, could be, the area’s break out receiver in 2012.
