Harmon Lost For The Season

Joey Harmon will have to wait until 2013 to get on the field for the Arcadia.

Arcadia quarterback Joey Harmon has torn his ACL and is lost for the season.

The sudden injury comes just two days before the Apaches opener at home with Rio Hondo Prep. The junior quarterback had transfered in from South Pasadena after leading the Tigers offense in 2011.

Zach Yee, the projected starter before Harmon’s arrival, figures to step into the starting position.

“Yee is taking all of the snaps,” says Arcadia assistant Eric Elias. “I believe he is ready to go.”
