Charlie Hosea in Flatlander days…
Former Burroughs “Bad Dude” Charlie Hosea signs to play football at Wingate University in North Carolina.
The Division II school has one of the more dominant programs in the South Atlantic Conference.
Hosea, who spent the last two years playing at Pierce College, joined the varsity at Burroughs (Burbank) in 2007. A fixture at middle linebacker for Keith Knoop for three seasons, he finished with 329 career tackles.
Besides numerous awards he was a All MVS for the Southeast Division in 2009.
