La Mirada’s Koa Kaleopaa Inks with Indiana State

(La Mirada) –  La Mirada linebacker Koa Kaleopaa has inked a letter to play with Indiana State La Mirada Coach Mike Moschetti confirmed Wednesday.

Kaleopaa had 50 tackles last year (40 solo) and five sacks while playing linebacker and some defensive line. The 6’3″, 245 averaged five tackles per game.

Kaleopaa also had offers from Mississippi, Arkansas, Cal, Colorado, Arizona and Utah.

“He’s a great kid. Indiana State is getting a big time Division 1 recruit and the steal in thier class,” Moschetti said. “He has great feet, and he’s a physical hitter.”
