3.) On this Date in 1962: Cleveland Indians pitcher Pedro Ramos throws a three hitter, but also hits two home runs, including a grand slam, in the Tribe’s 7-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles.

5.) Chicago Blackhawks defeat the Detroit Red Wings, 2-1, in game seven and advance to the NHL’s Western Conference finals to face the Los Angeles Kings.
