VanKirk was named to the All Mid-Valley Sports team last year. He is a force along the Spirit offensive line. Paraclete HC Norm Dahlia loves to run the ball and why wouldn’t he with a guy with VanKirk’s size and tougness to pave the way.
Last year Paraclete running backs rushed for over 2900 yards behind VanKirk and company. Rest assured the Spirits will be keeping the ball on the ground again with the rock VanKirk leading the charge. He also does a great job pass blocking forming a pocket that defensive linemen have a tough time breaking into.
