Kick it!
Is everyone into San Jose State playing USC this Saturday?
I get it. The Trojans’ conference schedule is brutal… It’s just, for me anyway, San Jose State feels so been there, done that, bought that T-shirt.
Wouldn’t it be great if Fullerton, Long Beach, and Northridge came back online with their football programs? (I know the reasons, but as Steppenwolf once sang, “I like to dream!”)
So if the Harry Hystericals in the media are going to talk about Myles Garrett not practicing for the last two weeks, will they also discuss Fog City wide receiver Mike Evans missing practice with a groin issue?
How do you gauge optimism for the Los Angeles Rams this season?
I run a Rams podcast three times a week on YouTube, and the hottest debate since the preseason began is about who will be RB3 on the roster.
We’re actually debating between Ronnie Rivers, Jarquez Hunter, Jordan Waters, and Dean Connors—on who will be the third-string running back on the 2026 roster?
The Chicago Bears are still looking for a left tackle. The Seattle Seahawks are still looking for a cornerback and have pulled Terrion Arnold and Trey Diggs off the street. The Minnesota Vikings are putting their hopes in Kyler Murray…
…But the Rams issue—in fans’ eyes—is who will be RB3. Talk about a marvelous first-world problem.
It’s even been suggested, tongue in cheek, that I’m lifting content from Jake Ellenbogen, a high-end Rams content creator.
I respect Ellenbogen (hard worker), but I’d sooner celebrate Earth Day than lift someone else’s content.
What’s not being talked about? Or avoided because no one wants to think about it… Kobie Turner, “The Conductor,” is entering the last year of his rookie contract.
Turner’s current market value, according to Sportrac, is four years/129.7-Rocks… That’s an average annual salary of 32.4-Rocks.
Given all the other players the Rams have to sign or extend, Turner’s market value is the wrath of god.
No matter what Jason Whitlock or anyone else says… there’s no place anywhere at any time, any longer, for the Pro Bowl.
#100—May the San Francisco Giants rot and lie stinking in the earth…
I’m not feeling a Mets milagro today.
The Minnesota Timberwolves got Jonathan Kuminga for $12.4 million for two years? There was buzz about the Lakers snagging him, and I was all for it…Do you think the present darkness surrounding Laker ownership factored into this?
Last Add Rams: Is “5 Keys to a Rams Victory Over The Chargers” really a necessary preview/sidebar lead for a preseason game?
