Downey & HC Jack Williams are hanging on to number one…barely.

Downey gets some slack because of who it lost to, but its number one spot is hanging by a thread. Norwalk has shown they have more than Penny, Bonita is charging hard, and coming out of the turn are both the Chiefs and Conquerors. (previous week’s ranking in parentheses.

2. (3) Norwalk (2-0)- Bad Dude FB/DT Xavier Fuery has fans wanting to talk about the Lancers defense.

3. (7) Bonita (2-0)- Linebacker Thomas Loy leads the Bearcats in tackles and sacks.

4. (2) La Mirada (0-2)- Kevin Dillman looking for first TD pass, Matadores looking for first win vs. Servite. Dillman gets his, Mats do not.
