(Covina) – Christeon Blackmon slashed through the Rowland defense to the tune of 139 yards as he lead Northview to a 28-0 victory Friday night at Covina District Field. The Vikings scored a touchdown in each of the games four quarters.
The Raiders were held to under 100 yards of total offense and were only in opponent territory once the entire game.
*** Viking Quarterback Peter VanDerEb threw for two touchdowns.
*** Northview’s Nicholas Ybarra scored twice, once on a one-yard run and the other on a 15-yard catch.
*** The Rowland sideline’s biggest question was “where is number 32 (Erasmo Isiorda) coming in from?”
*** Raider Running Back Jackie Zhang was the lone bright spot with his hard nosed rushing.
*** With the win the Vikings move to 3-0, while the Raiders fall to 2-1.
*** Rowland hosts Arroyo next week and Northview visits South El Monte.
